The watch is better than I expected. Being a man's watch, the band could have been a little larger and let the customer down size. Overall, I totally pleased.

So the power reserve does not appear to function for more than 12 hours. Twice I’ve worn the watch all day and the next morning found it stopped. It’s possible I didn’t move much during the previous day, but that also means the reserve is not holding a wind for more than 18-24hrs. That is disappointing.

The opening where the movement is visible was clearly stamped but then then inside of the opening was not finished in the same black color as the rest of the face (which is otherwise beautiful).

Finally, where the top of the bracelet meets the case, the bracelet creaks like a door hinge. I’ve never had that issue with any other watch, including my other Vitae watches. Solid, beautiful, the parts which are done right are very nice, and make the issues stand out more because it is otherwise of very good quality. I have to say, I suspect most would never notice the cosmetic items I mention, but the power reserve is a larger issue.
